You Can Earn Money for Surveys!

Feb 15

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Pity the thousands of companies that sell products and never meet the buyers! Look at all the stuff in a supermarket. Thousands of products and the producers are miles away. How can they plan what they produce without feedback from their ultimate customers, the consumers?!

These large companies must know what consumers think in order to plan their production schedules, improve existing products and design new products. To measure public opinion, they hire market researchers. Market researchers use surveys to measure this opinion and get the answers.

There are thousands of surveys being made every week. How do they get all those people to take the time to sit down and fill them out? The answer is, they make it worth their while; they pay them.

You can be one of those survey participants. You can earn money for surveys using your home computer and working at home.

That is how you can get paid for surveys that you take over the Internet.

To take surveys for money you need to first get invited to participate in paid surveys. The way you do this is to volunteer with some good survey makers. There are lots of survey makers, but 20% are good, 40% so-so and 40% are bad news.

Your problem is how to get a good list of survey makers to sign up with. The problem is that the lower 40%, the no-pay/low-pay time wasters do 90% of the advertising, trying to recruit new survey participants to replace those that just quit.

Most serious survey-takers report incomes of $200-$600 a month. Some make over $1,000 a month. You can work your own hours and no special skills are required.

3 Ways to Reduce Credit Debt

Feb 15

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock without the internet, television or radio you are aware of our growing epidemic of personal debt. When you owe anyone money than the debtor is slave to the creditor. Imagine what you could use the money you pay in interest and fees to your creditors if you didnt have your debt. We all know that live would be better if we all just reduced credit debt. There are many ways to reduce credit debt here are three to think about.

Bankruptcy

This one is the most dramatic so we will start with it. Bankruptcy is basically opening your entire life and laying it out on the table for all to see. If you qualify for bankruptcy then you get to give all of your financial information over to your layer and the courts. If you are in real trouble with debt and need to reduced credit debt before you get sued by a creditor than bankruptcy and all that goes with it might be worth it. If you can take care of your debt problems another way then try that first.

Debt Counseling, Debt Consolidation, Debt Negotiations

Most people would probably argue with me, but all three of these programs are similar to each other. You are going to go to a group that specializes in getting people out of debt. Again you are going to have to hand over your financial information to be analyzed by the counselor you are working with. They will help you talk to your creditors and hopefully negotiate with them. Many of these services will instruct you to send them a set amount of money each month and then they will send the money on to your creditors. Sounds good, but the biggest problem with these services is that most of them are unreliable and down right scammers. There have been countless instances where the service does not pay the creditor on time even though the client played the service on time. When that happens you are the one in trouble with the creditor not the service. These services also charge fees and percentages of your debt to use there service. Do not be fooled by the titles they use like non-profit. They will make a profit from you.

Making a Plan and Going it alone

This one is my favorite and the one I would recommend. First figure out exactly how much you owe and to whom. Then stop buying anything on credit no mater what. You don not want to make the debt bigger; you want to reduced credit debt. Here is the big step and one that most people have a hard time with including me. You sell as much of your belongings as you possibly can, so you can put that money towards your debt. I have completely gotten out of debt that way. Wouldnt it be better to be out of debt than have the stuff? The next step is spending as little as possible to get by in life so you can pay as much as possible on that debt until it is gone.

Good luck to you, I know you can do it.

Hawaii Vacation Rental - Easier Than a Hotel

Feb 15

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Arranging for accommodations is a very important part of planning any vacation. Most of us think of hotels and motels first, usually belonging to a major chain, and then give the matter of accommodations no more thought. However, Hawaii vacation condos are a very attractive alternative, and such a rental can make a wonderful vacation even more so.

With the options of villas, houses, or condos, rentals have more perks to make choosing one easier. With a Hawaii condo rental, there is the privacy and quietness that is often void in a hotel or motel. In a private condo you won’t worry about staff invading your privacy, which lends itself to a more secured and relaxed setting.

One of the greatest advantages of a Hawaii vacation rental is the ability to dine on your own schedule. Even if you don’t choose to prepare all of your meals, it can be very pleasant to walk into the kitchen in the morning and have your toast and coffee before getting dressed for the day. You can also put together quick and easy lunch picnics to take along. Even making just some of your meals can really offset your rental costs.

A rental will provide a much more “homey” feeling where you can cut loose and relax. Rentals almost always have full-sized, fully-equipped kitchens if you like the feel of home cooking and eating around a dining room table. Or, you might prefer to eat in privacy on your own secluded balcony. While costing about the same as luxury hotel accommodations, rentals can actually be much more luxurious than hotels.

Hawaii vacation rentals are available for just a few days or for much longer stays as well. A good travel agent can help you find these properties or you can do a search on the internet and find them easily. You may even pick a destination since if, for example, a Kauai vacation rental pops up as a special offer at a great price, you may decide that this is the island for you!

You have to look really hard to find a negative about a Hawaii vacation rental, and it isn’t a big one. You will have to fulfill a few of the housekeeping roles yourself in a rental, but you also won’t be intruded upon by housekeeping staff. A more comfortable environment can improve your whole vacation. Rentals have a lot to offer that you won’t find in a hotel. You can always go out to eat or order delivery if you want to be waited on.

Financial Budgeting For A New Business

Feb 15

Posted: under Uncategorized.

Did you know that cash flow problems are the main reason most companies go out of business?

If you are seriously interested in making your business a success, then managing your money effectively is critical to the security of your organisation.

When starting a new business it might seem impossible to put together a budget without any financial history on which to base income and expenses. However a business plan, before you even start, with some idea of costs and revenues is essential to determining the viability of a business, even if you are just planning to setup a work at home business. It might seem like guesswork at the beginning, but a tentative budget can be established with some thought and projections of future business. From some past experience in renovating properties, I always say ‘think of a figure and double it’ and then you will be near the mark. I think this is true for other businesses, because it’s human nature to underestimate what we need to spend and over estimate what we will earn.

Businesses usually have two main categories, like my website development business, income and expense. Under the expense category there can be several sub-categories often falling into two main areas of controllable expenses and uncontrollable. While many business owners claim they can control every expense involved in their business, they are simply kidding themselves, as some things such as utility cost, the amount of rent and other so-called fixed costs can, and do change, with the owner having no control. (Recent oil price increases are responsible for a number of small airline companies going out of business)

Other expenses such as payroll, insurance and advertising can be subject to a budget, but they are considered controllable expenses. If the business begins to fall off, you can control some of these expenses by laying-off employees and cutting back on advertising. However, living by a budget may help maintain profitability but could also turn against you in the long run.

Depending on the viability of your business it may be a better investment to bite the financial bullet on employee wages and still provide good customer service to the remaining customers until business picks up again. If no one takes care of the customers, it will not be long until there are no more customers to care for.

There are two ways to budget your business money and these are through set dollar amounts and percentage of income. Many businesses will budget their controllable expenses by the dollar and non-controllable by percentage of income. Obviously a good part of the owner’s time is going to be based on bringing money into the business and how much they have to spend on controllable expenses will be in direct relation to income. With any increase in business the owner will probably need the extra help to take care of the business so a percentage of income will go to more wages, thus freeing the owner to focus on generating additional income.

There are many other expenses that fall into the payroll account such as worker’s compensation charges, Social Security tax paid by the employer and paid vacation time or other perks determined by the employer. These needed to be calculated into costs when recruiting people into the business.

While you may think a budget is difficult to establish for a new business, it is essential to establish a healthy and sound financial foundation on which success can be built for the future.
