Apple recently updated its popular iPod music players making them thinner and adding great new features that make it worth considering an upgrade for old iPod users.There are three iPod models — 10, 15 and 30GB. The 15 and 30GB iPods $299 and include software for use with Windows or Macintosh systems.The new iPods are about half as thick as the older ones, and there is a dock for the 15GB and 30GB models. Instead of connecting via a Firewire cable to charge the battery or download music, the new iPod slides easily into its rectangular dock, which is connected to a power source or to the computer. The new controls are backlit and touch sensitive, which means there’s no longer a spinning wheel that collects dirt. There’s also a great new feature called the On-The-Go playlist.
Previously, if you wanted to listen to a particular group of songs on the iPod, you had to make a playlist in the MusicMatch for Windows or iTunes for Macintosh software provided with the device. With the new On-The-Go feature, you can click on a song in the iPod and add it to the playlist without having to hook the iPod to a computer. The playlist is cleared when the iPod is connected to the computer.The new iPod includes an alarm clock function, and new external sound means the alarm sounds even if the iPod isn’t hooked to a stereo or headphones.
There are a lot of extras on the iPod. The equalizer is back with more presets to bring out details of your music. A calendar is available, and the notes feature lets you drag text notes and messages to the iPod when it’s used by the computer as a hard drive. Contacts can also be added to the iPod using vcard-formatted contact information. There are new games to play, including solitaire.
The new iPod comes with features found on old iPods, such as earbud headphones that offer great sound and a sliding button on top that locks the controls. This keeps the iPod from accidentally being turned on.As for theiPod battery , the built-in device charges quickly and drains slowly. On average, I got about 6-7 hours of use out of the device on a single charge.
To complement the iPod, Apple has introduced the Music Store. The store offers songs for 99 cents each and some albums from several music genres. The only downside to the Music Store is its limited audience. For now, it’s only available to Macintosh users with iTunes 4.

While there’s room for slight improvement, the new design is impressive overall. The backlit control is great to have, even the On-The-Go playlist. The device offers great sound, whether through headphones or a full stereo system. The Music Store complements the iPods nicely, though it would be nice if Windows users could take advantage of the online song database. But at least Windows users have iPods.

Sure, many a paling fence contractor in Melbourne will have a standard price per metre but that fence price will certainly rise if certain conditions exist. There are quite a few and I will cover some of them here for you to make your decision easier.
1. Ease Of Access To Site
Can the fencer access the site easily and by this I mean the location of the paling fence. There could be vines or creepers etc that cover some of the fence. Obviously this will have to removed.
2. Immovable Objects Next To The Fenceline
There could be a structure like a small shed or a childs cubby house situated right on the fenceline. Most times this is not a problem if the fence palings are on that side of the fence. The paling fence contractor will check with both neighbours to see if it is alright to put the palings on the other side. Another option is that the fencer will simply make up a section of the fence offsite and put it up onsite.
3. Length Of Fence

I was on vacation with my family having a great time until theives got hold of our beach bag. We were having a great time visiting all the local attractions until we were robbed. We didn’t even notice that someone had gone into our bag and stolen our Iphone, my son’s mp3 player and my daughter’s ipod until we went to get something out of it. We were all really upset. It would have cost over five hundred pounds to replace them and we couldn’t afford that. They were all new items and I was steaming mad.
My wife reminded me that she had been smart enough to insure them all. Thank goodness. So we called the insurance company. The customer service agent was really friendly and helped walk us through the entire process of filing a claim for each of the items. It didn’t take long and she was able to tell us exactly what we needed to do. We could even go on line to their website and track our iPhone insurance claim and within 48 hours, we had replacements. It even covered all the phone calls that the thief made after stealing our iPhone. I was so glad they covered fraudulent calls because there were over a hundred of dollars worth made in the first couple of hours. The iPhone insurance company was so helpful and were easy to deal with.
We had a long flight home and the kids would have been completely bored if they didn’t have their electronic devices to listen to music and play games. In fact, we couldn’t have boarded the plane without the electronic ticket information I had stored on our Iphone.
We even got all our text messages and the numbers we had stored in our address books because of their great address book back up plan. I have never been so impressed with service and so happy to have insurance as I was that day. Our vacation could have been completely ruined; we would have remembered this vacation for all the wrong reasons if it wasn’t for the insurance.
Instead, we all remember it as the best vacation ever and I am the first person to tell all my friends and business associates about how iPhone insurance saved our vacation spending money. Forex PIP Explained is the smallest increment in price for a currency pair. The Forex pip is an acronym for Percentage in Point. Unlike dollars and cents which are shown with two decimal places, the Forex market currencies are shown with four decimal places. The smallest increment in price which is .0001 is what is referred to as a PIP. For example in the EURUSD the movement from 1.3894 to 1.3895 is one PIP.
The formula to calculate forex pip value is to take one pip and divide it by the price of the currency pair value and then multiply it by one unit which is 10000. You then need to change it to the USD so you multiply it by the current price. For Example Using the USDCAD
(.0001/1.2148) X 10000 = .8232 X 1.2148 = $1.00
You will always see that with any currency pair the pip value is always $1.00 per 10000 currency units. You may think that this value is very low. However you need to take into account that currencies are traded in lots of $100,000.00 which is $10.00 per pip. When you purchase one lot for $10.00 and the currency increases by 3 pips you have gained $30.00.
