I liked the days that I could do an easy return for my taxes. Even after my husband and I were first married it took all of 15 minutes to fill out the form. My biggest issue was I was always confused about the wages. I know it may sound stupid, but I was young and new that wages meant what you made at a job, but still it would confuse me. Now with all of the deductions and forms I have to fill out, form 1040 takes me at least two hour sometimes more. I always take the time to read the instructions because things change from year to year. Since we are business owners, I also have to make sure we fill out a form for all of our business expenses. It would be easier to take to a tax accountant, but I can not see paying the price for one. They are very expensive, and since we usually have to pay it is a waste of money.

This year I have decided to prepare my own taxes. Usually I go to an accountant and just pay them to do it, but I am confidant I can do it myself.
